Well Bob, the first one looks quite majestic to me - maybe that is because it is taken from an angle that is different to those that we are used to for bird photographs.  Impressive as Ron has said.

if you notice.. this one has a full crop.. which means it was resting a bit after a nice meal.. the best time to get reasonably close.. albeit i would have preferred the falcon was at eye level.
