I have no idea what species these flowers are, but I like the colours!

Gosh Mike, this one takes me back over 60 years to my grandmothers house  -  she had a fence with a similar display of red & white.  Nicely seen & captured.

Nice colours indeed and cultivated plants for a long time.  From what I can see, it seems to be  Petunia  and Geranium  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Petunia   and   https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geranium

John, I wouldn't dream of giving you an argument regarding the flower species.
