London walk with Anthony
« on: September 14, 2016, 18:22:41 »
Met up with NG member Anthony today. What a nice "meet-again" after 6 years. We had a nice walk across Waterloo Bridge, along the South Bank, crossed the Millenium Bridge and split up after St. Paul's Cathredal. Always nice to meet fellow NG's 😊
Oh, and I got to try his X-T2. Finally continuous shooting and EVF blackout is a thing of the past. And that 50-140...yum!!

I too had the privilege of a trot around in my case Soho where there was a small street market selling lots of different foods. Anthony's knowledge of London is phenomenal

The 50-140mm is a super lens, but I don't remember any EVF blackout on my X-T1, but of course that doesn't mean there wasn't any!

One from the day. X-T2 + 10-24mm f4

The man is like Ecyclopedia Londensis!
The blackout happens when firing at CH. The T(erminator)2 is virtually void of this effect.

I must admit I don't think I ever used CH, probably why I never noticed it ;D

Sten, it was great to meet you again after all this time, and to meet your son.

I will try to post some shots tomorrow, but the next few days are very busy for me.

Have a safe journey home.
