Parachutists
« on: September 11, 2016, 21:23:55 »
The day after the swimming race, the nearby village of Thalgau hosted the Red Bull Parachuting World Cup.

We were able to get very close to the target, and all images were taken with the 18-55.

Some landings were less elegant than others.

Maybe not elegant, but certainly accurate

Well captured movements and moments, the light is difficult to get the right contrast on the colour rendition

Thanks, all for commenting.

As for accuracy, the target was a 2 cm disk.  Some parachutists managed to hit it.

Fons, you are right about the light.  It was the middle of a sunny day, and shooting the parachutists against the bright background made the exposure very difficult.  This is particularly evident in §3, where I struggled to get the colours, which are still not right.
