Wait! Tamron releases new version of 150-600 Zoom!
« on: September 01, 2016, 11:26:35 »
Only after less than two years from the release of the initial version of 150-600 zoom, Tamron announced the release of the second version of the zoom with improved optical design and the electrically controlled aperture equivalent of the "E" type AF-S Nikkor.

Along with the zoom, Tamron will also release new models of 1.4x and 2.0 teleconverters that are currently only compatible with this new zoom.

If you are thinking about purchasing Tamron 150-600 zoom, you may want to wait to see.  Here is the link to the Japanese article.  I will add any article in English (possibly that on dpreview.com).

Stay tuned!

Nikon's catalog data are fairly conservative.  Af might work at f8.8 under good lighting conditions.   8)
