Night-time is sometimes the right time . . .

. . . even if your lens gets covered in condensation.

This was me returning home after another failed aurora-hunt.   :-[   ;D

Dave, you shouldn't sigh towards the lens.  :D

Despite your disappointment, the atmosphere is beautifully captured.  I envy you for the light-pollution-free environment.

Thank you, both - I took a couple of shots wth the condensation on the lens, then cleaned it off and shot a couple more. The decision to "go with the glow" was easy - the straight shot is boring, by comparison.
