Intro - Hello from North Dakota
« on: September 16, 2016, 20:08:11 »
Greetings

Frank asked me to introduce myself.

I live in North Dakota (USA) and have been a Nikon user since 1975.
Was old school commercial photographer using an F2a and film gear (Hassy & Sinar)
Move to a corporate job in 1989 so the cameras have been more hobby since.
I came to Digital in 2009? D70s - D200 -D300 -D700 . Now D810 and D500.

D500 for long stuff - wildlife with a 300 f2.8 VR or a 150-600 sig sport
D810 for the rest - 14-24 28-105 35 art 50 art 60afs 85afs  and 70-200

Shoot grandkids, travel a bit for work and like to shoot the stars.

Thanks for the kind welcome

North Dakota? I am a big fan of Gabe Brown http://brownsranch.us/ from North Dakota. He represents the inevitable future of agriculture for our planet, Harvestin Sun and Water and Carbon and sink them into the earth. Say hello to him if you meet him. He should be a tourist attraction by now after he managed to get some serious hits on his YouTube clips.
You are out there. You and your camera. You can shoot or not shoot as you please. Discover the world, Your world. Show it to us. Or we might never see it.

Hi Woollybugger welcome,

I`m the previous one to  introduce myself on the forum. Can I assume you do fly fishing in addition to photography?
The year before you started your Nikon career, I took some photos around Hope, bought some records in a music store in Fargo and enjoyed
beeing a teenager visiting.
