The last one, spruce branches with dry reeds as background, really stands out.

I love the color contrast in #3. Strong warm light. Clear air.

Thanks, Bjørn and Frank - I suppose #3 is probably my favourite too, if I had to choose.

Nice David, I think the first two lack a distinct focal point, which is why #3 is the pick.

I beg to disagree. The "lack of a focal point" is only relevant for a limited set of compositions.
