Nikon D500 announced with 20.9MP and 10fps!!!

To my complete & utter surprise, my D500 arrives this afternoon!
And here I am in the middle of a gazillion tasks and will have no time for days to give it a good workout.
I didn't think the D500 would be here until June.

Congrats and Enjoy! Please "reprioritize" your day and share some first impressions

I had the chance to pick up a loaner today but I am still travelling in the US  - too bad
But my dealer called me, that mine will arrive on Wednesday So the fun with the D500 starts in a few days .....

Again, enjoy your "surprise" and w'd love to get your story and of course some pictures.

Hi Frank.
Yes I can do that. I am on my way back from US (just sitting at the airport). I can post some pictures and share the g, b and u with the D5. I was just too busy to do much in fora over the last weeks. 
Would have been nice to play around with the D500 over this weekend, but unfortunately it didn't work out that I could pick it up today. It's just a few days anyway when I have a chance to get first impressions of this new model.

I am looking for a quick shot into the mirror box of the D500 that shows the focusing screen and the focusing screen catch as reflected in the mirror...
Like this:

It looks like the grip is very similar if not identical to that of the d750.
