Wow, 1/125 handheld with the TC.  That is really something.  My little Kingfishers move very fast when preening but nothing like that.  I thought I got some good images today but  they'll not be posted here :) .  I think it is time to give up on any serious birding and sell the 500vr.

Sharp photos w/ 700mm lens @ 1/125th handheld -- Toto, I've a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore!

My own experiments with VR on a long lens have been eye-opening.
