« on: December 02, 2015, 05:53:14 »
on a dirty, moving Bus

Another B&W but using CNX2

D3S, 70-200 2.8vr II, handheld at f2.8, iso 2200, 1/4000
Just back to CNX2 from PS.  Almost left it dark  ;)
Have a go at different if you desire  :)
Tom
Edit: and one in colour shot at the same time but sun so iso 720

Tom, I'm not able to see the second photo. It shows a broken link.

Anirban and Armando, many thanks for looking and taking the time to comment.  My never ending search for 'my' B&W images  ;) .  I do not know why some of my images disappear.  I will have to work on a different way of posting.
Same image, from same place but smaller size

Cheers,
Tom

Top-class documentary portraiture.  The limited color palette in the conductor shot works very well.

Thanks Keith  :) .  I shot a ton of these while waiting in the Gas station for four new tires on the jeep  ;) .  Nothing beats the D3S/70-200 2.8vr for speed of focus (well, at least nothing I own ).

Nice image and b/w conversion. Glad to see you using CNX2 which I use all the time.

My Smartphone shows one older man in BW on a train possibly. My windows computer shows another younger man riding a train possibly. I do not see any boy in either picture. Both men do not look particularly tired. lighting is very nice on the second one, cropping is mugh too tight on both for my taste. I miss context.

Both are images are excellent. Although looks like BW link is broken now. I just want to see some more of the "dirty" bus when I see both the photos; but may be it's just me and you wanted this impact.
