Imagewise, #1 raises the viewer's curiosity a notch or two above the usual. Nothing wrong with #2 but more easily 'read'.

Are these partaking in  series with a broaded scope or them?

The first thing that popped into my head while viewing the photos is one of David Lynch's dream sequences which are in almost every movie he has ever made.  These are excellent, especially the second shot.  Great stuff.

These were meant to be part of a larger concept/series though the execution was weak and my collaborator, Chris, moved away shortly thereafter. These two pictures are all that was salvaged from the wreckage and now stand, or fall, on their own.

Thanks for confirming my hunch.

A pity the project didn't come futher. The moody appearance promised a lot.
