Thanks Keith! It’s actually evening sunlight striking through the legs. Their webs are the most amazing, but the spiders that make these sheet webs are also very small (0.16 in) and have excellent hiding skills. They only show up underneath their web the moment they sense there is some prey there. Took me quite a while to be able to get this shot. But hey, part of the macro photography is also to be amazed by all these small creatures that are surrounding us!
