Sunset and petrel

Off the coast of NSW, Australia, during a three day yacht race recently. Very quiet at the time, unfortunately - no wind -> no go.

Dramatic sunset, that's for sure!

This is a pleasant capture, Mike!  The spreading rays are well captured.

Jakov & Akira - thanks for commenting. Sunsets must be one of the most photographed events, but this one was especially significant for us. "Red sun at night, sailors delight" - brisk westerlies could be expected soon.

Jakov - there were a few yachts nearby, but they were all further out to sea. Making the same speed - < 1 knot.
