The reason(s) why I'm not as active as before on NG
The revision work at the Botanical Museum of Natural History, Oslo University, fills much of my time, thus little free time left. I'm currently at 40% of the total amount of specimens to examine. So expect to keep soldiering on for quite some time yet. Oh well.
My daily working place, with labels;
A: specimens needing further close examination, possibly involving microscopy of morphological features or pollen;
B: specimens currently waiting for examination;
C: specimens examined and verified, no further action is required;
D: specimens re-identified, new labels should be written and the finished specimen re-inserted at a new position in the herbarium collections;
E: one of many text-books to consult with;
F: Leica stereo binocular loupe, 6.3-40X magnification available
Not shown is Birna's stamina. I shall prevail.
