Doe taking early morning drink
« on: March 11, 2021, 18:16:39 »
This doe was captured last summer while I was out on the lake for the loons.  The shore was very reedy, so she had to wade out a ways to ge a clean watering spot.  She was as surprised to see me as I was to see her.

D4, 600VR.  Taken from my little loon boat.

Cheers

How adorable, the reflection in her eyes together with the low view point really makes it.

Thanks everyone.

I found the eyes striking as well.  I captured 4-5 frames before she left, and some of the eyes looked almost creepy!

It pays to keep ones eyes open when out, as I was watching a loon when I came upon her, but was able to switch my focus to her.  Sorry about the bad puns.

Cheers
