Mackeral Sky?

Not sure if this is what's called a Mackeral Sky?
Nikon Z6 + Nikkor 24-70mm @ 1/2000 f4 ISO100
Nikon Z7, 24-70mm f4, 14-30, 35, 50,  85.

Very skeletal cirrus clouds formation, Mike, coooool!

I think you forgot to check what your histogram had
to say. That explains the lack of rendered sharpness
and micro contrast. May I suggest…
