The picture makes me puzzled. What am I seeing against the sky? /Eric

Fons,

There is a lot to like here and a bit that is hard to understand for me.

Is there a way to de-emphasize the sky a bit and leave the strong arc structure in place?

We do not need such an over processed image to see the clouds in the sky. We can use our imagination.

if you had taken a look,

there is but a touch of shadow lifiting in image 1

in images #2#3  ps shadow/ highlight  was applied for compositional reasons,

pp seems to be a dirty word,

well never mind

thank you

I like #1. It is surreal and futuristic, simple and bold.
