A beautiful Aussie songbird.

I've been enjoying these bird portraits, Bear.  On my one (so far) visit to Australia, I immediately noticed the abundance of birds that are much more colorful than the mostly drab and dully decorated birds seen here in Southern California.

I'm generally not a birding fan and that image still pleases me.  The composition with the branches, the background, the bird . . . all lovely!

Thanks Keith, I'm just amazed at the birds you have the States, Hummingbirds are so exotic to me!
