The millennium edition is very beautifully machined - one can tell with how smoothly the filter screws on!
Here on the Amadeo Nikon S to Leica M and then on the Yeenon M to Z helicoid adaptor.

Rough comparison crop of Millenium vs Nikon AF50mm f1.4D wide open at about 1.5m. Both show significant colour fringing but Millenium has better microcontrast, finer detailing and less wide open glow. The bokeh is also smoother on the un-cropped picture
