G'day all,

Probably a silly question, but is there a 200-500mm Lens Hood Replacement (after market) available?

There is the LensCoat Travelhood: https://www.lenscoat.com/travelhood-zoom-p-3374.html

It is quite convenient because it is foldable.

The original HB-71 hood is nice because it has a bayonet mount and goes on -and off- with a flick of a wrist. It can be mounted reversed, so it's a space saver.

On eBay you can find it for prices between 45$ and 75$. Some will be coming from HK or China and are almost perfect duplicates of the original.

Any 95 mm thread size lens hood will work, for example if you search on eBay with keywords "95mm lens hood" you will find dozens of options, with prices ranging from 15$ to 100$. The threaded hoods cannot be mounted reversed
