Robert, looking at this image reminds me very much of parts of Melbourne, where Italian influence is strong. For example, Lygon Street in the Northern suburb of Carlton.
Melbourne had a significant influx of both Italian and Greek migrants in the 1950s and 1960s - so much so that Melbourne was at one stage the second Greek largest city containing Greek people in the world - second only to Athens.
Migration has enriched the life of my town and no doubt yours.
