I haven't had the pleasure of meeting Jakov in real life so I wouldn't know, but I'm sure you're right. I simply re-used the term Bjørn used and I think it should be taken in the lightest way possible and with a wink.

How would the 18/4 compare to the 20/2.8 AIS?  I've got the 20/2.8, but rarely use it at f/2.8 (but it's way better than the other 20mm MF Nikkors in my opinion).  I like pointing my wides into the sun so flare/ghosting are usually high on my list.
