Special day, special shooting. Normally I do not like big heavy zooms, but today I was very happy with the 70-200/2.8...

All shot in Lille (France), 15 July 2018. Df + 70-200/2.8 VR II. I was pleased with the AF-C mode speed and precision (even on moving cars).

Minimal processing, using View NX-i and Capture NX-D: some straightening, cropping, WB rebalancing, and in rare cases additional D-lighting and application of "S curves".

Airy, very nice.  Congratulations to France.  In truth I was a neutral when it came to the final two but it was a great match to watch.  The French, along with a number of other countries, rate good news to celebrate.

I like the guy in the window with the fist  ;)
Thanks for sharing .  Paris was the place to be on the Weekend.

I really liked the championship. The last two teams really deserved to be there, but Frace was clearly much stronger. Wonderful moody shots, Airy!

Nice set, Airy! I especially like the last one.
I watched the gain in Sri Lanka, in the middle of dusty field where a TV was miraculously standing, connected to computer streaming the French TV in a less than fluid way. We actually missed 3 of the 6 goals... We had lots of fun with a few perfect strangers who all supported Croatia.
At the end I paid a beer to everyone and we were all friends!
