:) thanks!  It's from a recent trip to Holbox (in the Mexican Caribbean).  I think it was shot with a fM3a and a 28mm f2.8 using Kodak Ektar.

Very cool introduction shot. Reminds me of Tibetian Prayer flags. People believe that the prayers written on the flags
are carried by the wind and bless others who receive the wind.

FM3a and 28mm. Haha. Who shoots film these days?

After  21 years of film I went to digital in 2005 and never looked back.

Nikon allows to use nearly ALL lenses they ever made on current bodies and the results are stunning
as you can see browsing this site.

welcome!!!!

Hey Frank!  I shoot with just about anything!  Film, instant, digital, iPhone, etc.  what I like about film is that it slows me down and makes my composition better...

Manual lenses and/or a Df will do the same....

The slow down is in Reality an inner process IMO

If I am in the right state of mind I see compose and shoot one picture and it is just right.

When I am not concentrated I shoot endless amounts of crap all going to be deleted later.

Plus some shots you can only get by wasting film. And wasting film is better done in digital.

Of course Frank it's internal. But in our busy times we need an explicit reminder and there is nothing like a manual lens to instil the message.
