Wetlands are extremely important ecologically.  They provide habitat for wildlife and hold water thus preventing downstream flooding.  In Houston where I live, decades of destroying wetlands through poorly thought out development has created a flooding nightmare which will take many billions of dollars to fix.  Developers are fighting any regulation and local elected officials are afraid of them.  This process is why I lost my home to flooding last August.

Sorry to know you are looking at this otherwise interesting landscape with complicated feelings.

You say ACR, not Photomerge?  Does ACR offer the function of stitching?

ACR has stitching functionality equivalent to Lightroom.  It's so easy that one could call it "stitching for dummies". Just my speed.  Someday I will have to try photomerge.

Feelings are conflicted, but I am in much better shape than I was in December when I took that shot.  It's been a difficult time with the house and nearly everything in it being destroyed.
