Hi everyone,

I know many of you from NG and later FZ - great to see you again. Photography is just a hobby of mine but it has stayed with me on/off since early 1980's. Already knowing many of you, I know I can both learn a lot and get great inspiration from the members of this community!   

I have a Nikon D40 lying around somewhere, however I understand that this is a brand agnostic site and I do have a camera that can take the images I want, so I should qualify as a member :) 

My favorite subject is still landscapes and I'm still struggling to learn!

Welcome Lars, i remember you from the other site.

Even if you hand painted your pictures, i'd be interested to see them  :)

I remeber your name and the memory is positively connotated so post away and ... if you intend to replace your rather
old camera with a current model you find here users of Nikon Fuji Olympus Sony and Leica iirc.

@Thomas - re Danes, that's nice to hear. I know Jørgen and Erik from the former NG.   

@Frank - thanks, I mentioned my old D40 as an alibi for joining the Nikon Gear site :D. I'm currently using a Fujifilm X-E1.   

@Elsa, HCS and Jakov - looking forward to seeing your imagery (again..) as well.
