« on: November 11, 2017, 22:14:50 »
Hi all,

Day of the dead is a very traditional and full of folklore holiday in México.

Demonstrations and samples of popular art are everywhere.

Nikon F100
Nikkor 50mm 1:1.2 Ai-S
Nikkor 28mm 1:2 Ai-S
Kodak Ultramax 400 @ 800
Low resolution lab scan

Saludos,

Mauricio

Hi, Mauricio, thanks for introducing this interesting event of your tradition.  We Japanese also have similar event to welcome the spirit of the ancestors.

FWIW, I started a dedicated thread for sharing various traditional events and festivals from all over the world, taking advantage of this international forum.  Hope you are interested!

Armando,

There are like 30-40 skulls at Paseo de la Reforma, different colors, patterns and themes. The lotto cards skull is my favorite  :D

Thank you for comment.
