Follow the Leader

Well, this is a previous leader shot with the current champion* (Nikon D3, 28/2.8 Nikkor AIS). So now all of you know what to do with your old depreciated camera  ;D

The lens is an AFS 17-35 mm f/2.8 Nikkor  and the camera a Nikon D1. May they both rest in peace.

I have a nice collection of DSLRs no longer in actual use. Perhaps they can be turned into objects of art? A red-painted D3S would fit nicely over my living room sofa, for example :D

I am fascinated to see the familiar form factor with a different skin on it.
I've always sold off my disused cameras.  What I'd really like are all the bicycles I ever had.
I still like my 17-35, however.

By the looks of it they are resting in one piece :)
