Had a play with a microfiche lens it is fixed aperture any thoughts on improvement

Image is nice, that's for sure, but I for one would wish for more tangible impression of crispness (sharpness) - perhaps the hackneyed expression of "pop" can be applied?

The auto resize is most likely not adding to sharpness, image is a bit too large, try posting 1600 pixel or smaller,,,

Just a guess but could the original photo be an Adobe RGB JPG? It has a lot brighter color on my home computer and Firefox 52.5.0 32bit ESR than here on my phone with Chrome Android.
