A biologist friend invited me and another photographer friend to go to the woods to look for blue fungi ...

Since I never seen blue fungi I accepted, he said we were a bit late but still we found many

What lovely fungi — I had no idea there were blue fungi.
They certainly provided you with some most unusual photographs.

Are they edible or highly toxic?

Interesting species!
