The third one is really nice, crop and processing and here the strange scene backdrop adds to the image, in the other images it disturbed my eye, being crooked and strange looking. This is for sure a demanding task,,,

Thank you guys,

  Erik, background is one of the main issues. Specially in dance, and extra in rehearsals in the studio. Good thing to compensate is that they repeat over and over the same routine so I had time to adjust, anticipate and try something extra here and there hence, the image you prefer. No crop, sooc with some general exposure compensation/contrast. Sometimes it pays off to take a risk.

Challenging aggressive framing is nice, Paco!

I also like #3, because the tense of the framing and the facial expression of the dancer synchronize nicely.

Thans Akira.

   While taking pictures they asked for some video footage... I warned them of my skills in that area -and non skills in editing video whatsoever- but they wanted it anyway. We agreed a third party will do the montage/editing/cut. I´m actually happy with the result, specially the end.

Very nice and small adjustments can make it better:

Please ask the editor to:

1- Straighten the frame horizontally
2- Reduce a bit the strobe effect
3- Add SlowMo in the middle of the strobe effect C/U
4- Color correct WB to be similar in all the clip
5- I personally would add a light vignette and zoom in/crop a tad on the large frames
6- Add some shadows to the dancers which should be very easy to do with a matte
 
Finally, the frames look too digital, add some noise/grain.

Paco, the video looks very promising.  It should be challenging to synchronize the timing of the edit with the rhythm of (seemingly) buleria.

  My comments to the video were in line with yours as I ask for less strobe effect -love the end thou- and slower in the middle.

   Akira, your ear is well trained... The rhythm pattern is like a bulería but reversed in order: [1] 2 [3] 4 [5] 6 7 [8] 9 10 [11] 12 making it a "siguiriya". Once again, impressed

Paco, thanks for the correction.  The 12-beat-based rhythms are really challenging even just to find the beat "one"!   :o

Oh, I completely agree. All this soleá, bulería, solea por bulería, alegrías, cantiñas, etc are confusing. If you let only the foot work is nearly impossible.   I know because I asked him  8)  ;D
