Shot with the single-coated Nikkor-H Auto 50mm/f2.0 on SIGMA fp.  The first two images was shot wide open.  The last one was shot at f2.8.

I think that the remaining spherical aberration diffuses all the lights nicely to enhance the atmosphere of the cityscape in the night.

Nice shots Akira. I like the magical atmosphere and the (relatively) low rise cityscapes!

Glad you like them, Zang!  A modern, more aberration-free lens would have rendered the scene more dry and futile.

I got Contax Zeiss 40-80mm f3.5 lens today for only 50 CAD (40 USD equivalent) with pristine glass and in very good cosmetic condition. Despite complains about sharpness from people on the Internet, the lens is very sharp on my cropped NEX6. The colors are really nice too!

Got myself a Novoflex Nikon Z adapter to have some fun with my old manual Minolta lenses.

A few shots from todays snow weather
- first one with a Minolta MC ROKKOR-PF 50mm 1.7 - 1973/77
- rest next 4 with 28/2.8 - 1983.
- added two more shots with the 50mm .. last two.

The IBIS in the Z7 is great - I was able to shoot handheld 1/10s at 28mm .. not super sharp but quite acceptable.

Bussed-in tourists at Badwater, Death Valley.  Photo from January 04, 2015...lens 135/3.5 Ai, ( September 1981, according to Roland's site*.)  *My copy actually has the last serial number listed on the Photosynthesis site for this lens model.

Outstanding picture !  :)

I have purchased a mint Vivitar 55mm f2.8 for around $30. The lens has a bigger piece of dust inside the rear assembly. It was pretty easy to disassemble and clean. As the rest of the lens looks and works like new, I did not go further with disassembling the helicoids. The lens is very sharp.
