fabulous shot with great concentration on point of focus and nicely diffused surrounds. Very much like the idea of how the surrounds make you follow the lines that eventually lead you to the focus point.

Mongo's only CC is that the framing/positioning of the  elements might have been a touch different to give better proportions and draw the viewer's eye to the focal point more readily. At present, it seems a little close to the very bottom of the frame. Mongo can also understand how this may well be very deliberate.

Actually, I tried it as you mentioned, but it works much better this way. Here is another that is more what you maybe had in mind.

On the second version, I miss the curly looking right edge of the leaf that is seen in the top right of the first version. Still, you may consider adding a little "bottom" in the first version. But maybe you dislike square proportions ?

I like the top one best. It's a beautiful shot. I love the color and the emphasis on the water drop.

I think a small slice off the top would make it a stronger photograph.
