Different kind of stack

Yes, flowers again, but now not stacked "to death". Tried to give the one shot feeling, yet this is a 14 image stack.

Interested in how this is perceived.

I like the concept and the selective focus on the back flower. 

In a perfect world, I would prefer not to have the OOF petal of the foreground plant blocking part of the sharp plant, and would also consider a modest crop up from the bottom to downplay the mass and impact of the OOF foreground on the image.

Personal taste really.

To me, the success hinges on the unsharp areas including those in the front. You won't get any criticism from my on that score. There is, however, a green leaf jutting through the left upper part of the frame that I could do without.

A seasoned close-up photographer might be just a tad puzzled about the overall distribution of sharpness , but it takes a trained eye to see something is "amiss".

Randy, the unsharp foreground bit is intentional and i'm glad the master commented on it. I picked up the tip that a good photo needs an imperfection from Bjørn.

Bjørn, the oof green leave is a stacking artifact and i thought long and hard whether to "correct" it or leave it in. I decided to leave it in, i'll give it a go to clone it out.

The first thing that struck me was the colours, very beautiful.  I agree with getting rid of the green artefact.
