California poppies (Eschscholzia californica) seem simple to capture,
But their super saturated color, silky texture and movement in the slightest wind makes it really difficult;

I like the second one, strong colors, with sense of depth.
In perfect world, would prefer not to have the dead stalk on the right foreground.

I see your point. I do have a habit of leaving some flaw in the frame. It reminds me that there is no perfect world.
