Clash of Nature II

Yet another never-ending love story concerns dandelions. Perhaps
the
most beautiful of all flowers in my book. as they frequently appear in urban settings, getting the contrast Man-Nature is a breeze and often provides for lively colour contrasts as well.
Again the Nikon Df at my service, this time in conjunction with a UV-Nikkor 105 mm f/4.5 lens and the Baader UV/IR Cut filter. A custom colour profile in Photoninja ensures the colour palette is rendered perfectly.

Bjørn, the leaf appears to be in a bit of fluorescent green. Did the scene look close to this final image?

Absolutely. The greens are satured after a rainy period and red against green makes the saturation appear even more vivid. Precisely why I selected to shoot this dandelion, literally on my doorstep, while I was out fetching my morning newspaper.

Thanks for the details of the situation. I love the color composition.
