Trip to Lordship
« on: October 29, 2016, 02:45:13 »
Had to do some business in a nearby town on Long Island Sound and brought along a camera. Here are four selections however random they might be.

You're right Erik, it is a strange posting. I went to the shore to shoot rare birds that sometimes migrate through there at this time of year. There was none as the wind was howling and the air was cold. I cut short short my trip and came home. The best shot was of Wonnita who was taking a cigarette break from her job. I asked and she nicely complied. I'm glad you like her shot. I emailed it to her.

The rest of the stuff I took was random trying to find something worthwhile. Alas, I failed (for the most part)...

Thanks Elsa. Turkeys are some of the strangest birds on the planet but not so strange that Benjamin Franklin, one of the founders of our country, wanted them to be our national bird instead of the warlike Bald Eagle, a choice so typical of countries that strive to be great. Now we eat turkey every Thanksgiving instead!

I cant even begin to imagine that...
