Two Favourites.
« on: September 26, 2016, 15:58:50 »
As I am new on here I thought I would post 2 of my favourite Images for my first post and hopefully it actually works and I have figured out how to attach the pics Okay.
The first photo is of a beautiful young male Leopard taken as he walked right up to my jeep as if to say goodbye at the end of one of my favourite and most memorable Leopard encounters in the Mara region. This was the end of a 2 day encounter with this young male and this shot was taken near to Leopard Gorge .
Taken using my Nikon D3 and nikon 200-400.
The second Image is of a rutting Red Deer stag taken in Richmond park Surrey using the Nikon D7000 with the Nikon 300mm f/2.8 vrii lens.
Anyway I am off to try out my new D500 and Nikon 300mm f/4 PF lens !
All the best Rich
P.S The files are small 640 wide will upload bigger files next time

Rich, what a fantastic way to join us :)
Don't worry too much about file size. I used to post images that were 720 in height, now I changed to 1080 pixels.

I like the second image, has great atmosphere

Larger would be greaty appreciated.  The file size limit is 2.5mb.  While we should all be considerate with our data usage, do keep in mind that we come here for quality images.
