Summer's end - Kyoto

Summer was hot and long, and autumn colours were in a very early stage of transition when I was in Kyoto a couple of weeks ago. There is still beauty in decay…

The Japanese sense of beauty is reflected in this series in a pleasing way!  I particularly like the fourth and the fifth images.  The decayed-alive contrast is beautifully captured.
