Thanks for the translations. I think it's amusing that the actual space cameras were without plastic, but that the last F, known popularly as the "Apollo" for its space connection, is the one with the most plastic on it!
I agree with The Solitaire: the first time I saw a Nikon F in about 1960, I knew that this was the ne plus ultra. I have four now, including a black bodied plain prism one that is a little beat up but works well despite having cost $5.00. If you've ever operated on the insides of an F, you'll understand the reason that Japanese guy got misty eyed, too. What a machine!
