Mongo cannot help but comment on the fabulous sharpness and contrast from that lens; particularly noticeable in No. 1 and 2. Also, you have a very interesting neighbourhood.

I reckon that is the side of the houses turning away from the street. At least its like that where I live. Everything is a fasade. Really like the first one. Quite humorous inscription on the wall :)

Yes, it is indeed and interesting neighborhood!  :D  I have had many neighbors I enjoyed, but this is the only neighborhood that I've been fond of entirely.

Børge, these are street facing.  Our neighborhood is unique in being a mile from downtown and right off the major freeway in a marina with a view of San Francisco, but through traffic is rare so the neighborhood is isolated.  Fires on the streets and partied are not prohibited.

Fons, thanks for the compliment. :-)

Tristin agree with Mongo.  The 105/1.8 is criminally unkown in Tristin's opinion, existing in the shadow of the 105/2.5 unfortunately.

Please show more of your neighborhood when you get the chance.  I have had a "my neighborhood" project going for, basically, forever.
