For me this captures the feeling of briefly looking up at the sun on a bright day.

This thread needs a bump..

From a small group of old oaks in a forest meadow - great afternoon light (close to solstice) in the darkish forest. An area with a high content of lime in the soil that haven't been cultivated using modern cultivation methods with fertilizers and pesticides.

Somewhat echoing Karl's, The way. September afternoon, two years old shot of a path with Mirabelle plum trees and Elder trees - a path connecting a 1990's residential area and a small rural village where I lived for 4 years. Fields on both sides - during the fertilizing season I had to take a veeery deep breath and hold it when I was cycling through that area to/from the train to work ;D

#462. I l;ike this, Lars. The spots of [presumably] sunlight add a touch of temporality to the forest scene.

Many thanks, Keith. Yes, it is sunlight spots and one of the the reasons I photographed the scene - and it changed due to wind. The other reason is that the trees in the front are in the shadow, creating a sort of graphical impression with the sunlit, and different trees, in the background.
