Every now and then opening a raw file in PN gives completely off results

Reopening will do it right

I'm using the same version of PN and haven't noticed the very issue you illustrate. However, once in a while PN will crash almost immediately when I first open a folder. By restarting PN, the folder is digested without hiccups and program flow continues in a normal manner. This might be connected to the problem you have observed, perhaps?

The latest version of PN offers support for D500 and that besides the highly improved browsing of networked drives (for which PN 1.25 and earlier are notoriously slow) makes resubscribing tempting.

Thanks for your insight, i was not thinking of the D500, still satisfied with my other cams, the false colouring suggests that one of the channels doesnt convert.
Crashing programs with win 10 happens on a regular basis, photoshop crashes my graphics card, niks within ps will also causes ps to crash.
Anyway ;)

the other is not a win10 issue. photoshop cc updates all the time. nik crashes pscc if you do not reinstall nik after pscc update. seems pscc ovewrites some file crucial for nik.
