Street commerce

Taken in in heart of the original Chinatown district here in Toronto.
In addition to the bricks and mortar stores, there is a great deal of commerce that takes place on tables, blankets, and overturned cartons on the wide sidewalks of the area. Everything from fruits and vegetables to watches and jewellery can be bought from the sidewalk entrepreneurs who crowd the streets.

The framing is nice, the tones make it look like it was shot in the 70s. However, I feel you missed the focus point.

Jakov,
Thanks for commenting.
In retrospect, I think the depth of field was too shallow. I was trying to eliminate the very distracting background which was horribly contrasty and very bright, and went with 2.8 @ 1/500th because both the buyer and seller were in open shade.
f4 or even 5.6 would probably been a better choice to keep it sharp front to back.
