I am happy to see your picture and think: Even after a Nuclear War there would still be rats and trees and many many other species. Humans are not able to wipe life from this planet, thank god, thank nature, thank nothing or whatever you believe or not believe.

That was then, before the great flood. Today humans are onto wiping themselves from the face of this planet, or at least most of us. What an irony:

God did grow up, humans want to stay infantile...

EDIT:

Dear Frank, I am sorry but our rules state the following:

"Discussion of contentious topics such as religion, guns, or politics will simply will not be allowed.

Infractions may result in a warning point and possible deletion of posts."

The text you posted in GREEN has no place here. I hope you understand. We are not only brand agnostic.

Yours, Jakov

Great image. Besides, the colour contrast left ant right of the trunk adds to the visual impact.

Jyda, as already said, well seen. The frame is nicely divided and the color/tones are well suited.

Frank, I think you've posted in the wrong forum. Maybe give this one a try www.christianphotographers.com

Charlie. No. I think about text. The Bible is a text that has massively influenced our language our culture
our thinking. Whatever you may believe in or not. Great influential strories. One of the corner stones of our
culture. This picture and its iconography, the fight between nature and man has evoked in me the urge to
quote this piece of universal literature.

could have been Goethe or George Bernhard Shaw or Einstein instead or Cervantes Shakespeare Kant...

EDIT:
Frank you are welcome to post quotes from authors whose names you have mentioned. Please stop quoting anonymous religious literature and posting it here, because I will delete every word.

Absolutely agree with Frank but the conversation should probably stop here before it takes us into controversial terrain.
Back to the photo I like the message and also the graphic elements, with the image divided sharply in segments.

Well seeing and even better and more clever framing. The surreal visual impact of the tree makes me think that, actually, everything but the tree is out of place. It works in so many levels.

  Thanks for sharing it!
