Chipping the Rodenstock Heligon 100/1.6

Thanks to our CPU maker I am in the process of making said lens proper-compatible with my Nikons.
My sample is sunk into a 18-70G shell and pushed back so far that I achieve focus as a distance of ca. 1.3 meters.
In order to fit the contact block I will need to modify another bayonet. The one I originally had in place was grinded slimmer which prevented a correct position of the contact block.
I believe the bayonet I'm going to use is from a wrecked Tamron 19-35 (which by the way has its outer shell duct taped in place to act as a lens shade for the Heligon).

Voila...although I had to grind into the rear element the image circle is big enough.

Forgot to mention that the CPU makes life muuuuch easier on my D5300...which may become my next IR camera. The obstacle is the monocoque body which makes disassembly a little trickier. Thanks Bjørn!
