The video footage with a 118 degree coverage on  the Sony would make most people sea-sick in a short while, I'd guess.

My 13 was produced about the same time as that one--175918.  Love it!

Not quite certain what to think about the T-stop values listed by Cinoflex. Last time I read up on the topic none of the manual Nikkors had the exact light transmission the mathematical f-stop values suggested.

That and the quite horrible prices they list for their red anodized aluminium parts makes me think they are a brand for video hipsters rather then anything seriously considered by professionals. I don't have a clue about videography so I might be wrong.

In some cases, the actual T stops for a lens exceed the F stop.  This happens when the lens manufacturer misstates the F stop as smaller than it really is.  Rare, but it does happen.  There was a Zeiss 85mm/1.4 Contax RTS lens that tested as T/1.4.  Because the lens was actually f/1.3.
Agree with your assessment of the red anodized parts and their existence as bait for video hipsters.
