Nikon D5 - Battery autonomy figures are met
« on: April 08, 2017, 23:51:18 »
Just to let you know that the 3'700 pictures per battery load seems true: 2'488 pictures and 34% left, gives a theoretical 3'770 frames. All pictures were taken with AFC permanently on, plus VR, and this on a Nikon 300mm f/2.8 VRII, which, I guess, must be quite demanding in terms of energy.... 8)

Really impressive! But I remember event when Nikon told us the Government Regulation issued which strictly prohibited the  air traveling with big capacity photo batteries onboard... In  year Nikon made the next model with the same capacity battery, but switched its polarity. So we need to by the new ones, all of us! The Regulation just melted into Universe... This small-city-guy trick was another nail, as well as idiotic service policy. Oh yes...  LZ
