The scene is well captured with nice gradients in light and shadows and very atmospheric. So the stealth mode worked ...

There are signs of lens flare visible in the central part of the frame.

As to the studying aspect,  all I can see is she is texting on the phone?

When I walked in she had a notebook in front of her, that didn't last long.
Laos had leapt the telecom gap.
Years ago there were single lines on concrete poles to major villages.
Now, everyone has a mobile, even in the smaller tribal villages, and there are cement cell towers on many hills.


Tribal dress isn't an affectation in Laos

I like the photos for what they show and say. Kids of that age seem to now have a lot in common all over the world. I think there is much good about that.

You always have such interesting images.

It was purposefully softened with repeated applications of Imagenomics Noiseware to get teh look.
